Luxury Kitchen Living.

This project was our second for a returning client, and another amazing project working alongside Meiger Kitchens and Interiors. Here, we installed a system to manage the lighting control, air conditioning, audio visual, and WiFi.

Lighting

With this space having over thirty circuits of lighting, simple lighting control was a must. We specified and installed a KNX lighting system and utilised Gira 6 button keypads to enable the perfect lighting scene to be set throughout the space via a single button press.

All of the lighting can also be simply controlled via the wall mounted Control4 touchscreen, remote control, and mobile app.

Audio Visual

The space consists of two zones of Sonos audio through six KEF in-ceiling speakers. Through this, we also integrated our client’s jukebox so that it can be listened to throughout the space.

For the TV area, our client wanted to utilise his existing Bose sound system and 75” Samsung TV. This was all installed and perfectly integrated into the stunning media wall created by Meiger. The TV has access to the homes centrally-installed Sky boxes and CCTV recorder, and is all simply controlled by a single Control4 touch screen remote control.

Air Conditioning

This space is cooled via a discrete Air Conditioning system. We have integrated this into the Control4 system, which has allowed us to remove extra clutter from the wall in the form of the AC’s wall controller. This is simply operated via the Control4 touch panel or mobile app.

Network

Seamless WiFi has been provided throughout the space by discretely concealing a Ruckus Unleashed access point behind one of the ceiling speakers, which provides fast and reliable coverage to the entire space.
