Private Swimming Pool

This project was our first for this client in collaboration with the developer Meiger Kitchens and Interiors. We managed the lighting control, audio visual, and WiFi in this spectacular swimming pool.

Lighting Control

The lighting design for this swimming pool consists of approximately 200m of LED tape, which can be a challenge to control and dim smoothly. However, utilising KNX and DALI control, we managed to provide seamless and accurate dimming throughout the space and, most importantly, it was super simple for our client to use.

All of the lighting can be easily set to the perfect level and mood either by the press of a single button on the stunning Gira KNX keypads, via the Control4 touch panel, or via mobile app.

Audio Visual

For the audio, we utilised seven KEF ceiling speakers to ensure an amazing and even sound throughout the entire pool area. Sonos streaming was used here for simple use and to keep it inline with our client’s existing system.

A 75” Samsung Terrace TV took care of video duties. This has access to the homes Sky boxes and CCTV, along with streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube. The TV’s sound is linked to the pool’s ceiling speakers so that the TV audio can be heard clearly from anywhere in the space without relying on a high volume.

Network

Seamless WiFi has also been provided throughout the space by discretely concealing a Ruckus Unleashed access point behind one of the ceiling speakers. This provides fast and reliable coverage to the entire space.
